In 1998 Kandoris was given life by Lien Kooijman. Meanwhile she raised a remarkable and fascinating music group, without a shadow of a doubt.

Remarkable because their music is incomparable with others and they bring something wholly new. Fascinating because every time the public is astonished by their charisma and musical skills.

The 3 ladies, dangerous as they are, produce with their voices a daring, but also quite colorful and often even divine harmony.  As if this is not yet enough, these girls play instruments as well, as all sorts of flutes, accordion, fiddle and 5-string banjo.

With their masculine company, the fun can certainly go on!  They add power with their bass guitar, acoustic guitar, 5-string banjo, concertina, mandolin and mouth organ.  Only even they may sing,.. and yet well at the top of one's voice!  Thus KANDORIS has many a time a 6-part singing!

This spectacle (modestly till high-spiritedly) comes up with a combination of own songs, traditionals and imaginatively worked-out covers. They self are fond of the old playful country songs (and will definitely heathen up your heart for it too), but they feel themselves perfectly home in genres as Irish, English, American folk, gospels, Bluegrass and Cajun. Even of a touch patois doesn’t frighten them!  They also have the nerve to perform a capella.

Kandoris gives a special flavor to your happening, party, festival, etc. and a pleasant aftertaste for the public. You’ll enjoy a fresh appearance full of ambiances, humor and musical quality.  Thus a not to miss "performance"!

You could have lived the Kandoris-experience at several Folk Festivals in Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, France and Denmark, on television and radio, in many folkclubs etc.

Kandoris could also surprise you with different programs, for instance St-Patrick’s Day, New Year, Valentine’s Day etc., and their famous Christmas Concerts are booked for years in advance...
